Canadian producer Jayeson Andel, who we recently witnessed on Silk Remixed 04, as well as his recent collaboration with LTN ("Clockwork"), is ready to launch his first EP on Arrival. "The Girl In Black" features three progressive cuts, including a collaboration with Indian artist Skyknock.

The title track starts off with a quite energetic groove, which is later replaced with a blissful piano solo. A tremendously hypnotizing array of percussion elements, as well as a bassline groove, are added shortly thereafter. The break sees the addition of multiple piano layers, which leaves the listener in a state of absolute hypnosis. The collaboration with Skyknock, "Blueberry", begins with a firm groove accompanied by tranquil arpeggio layers in the background. As the song progresses, intriguing elements are added, for example a soothing female vocal stem that plays extremely well with the stirring theme lead introduced in the break. Finally, "A Little Spaced" takes off with the introduction of a mesmerizing atmosphere, including blissful background arpeggio melodies and a lovely piano line on top. A breath-taking breakbeat soon emerges, brilliantly supported by smooth bassline notes. Beautiful string layers are showcased in the break, and the song continues with unique sound effects, which accompany the well-crafted breakbeat rhythm.
